How do I purchase a single license or discounted license pack?

Find the image you would like to purchase from our selection.
Once you've found the desired image, navigate to the license panel showing you the license purchase options.
In the panel, you'll have the option to purchase the image license as a single, or as a discounted pack option for your preferred license. Please note that not all teams licenses have a pack option available.
From here, you can proceed with a single license or choose the pack option that best suits your needs. Click on the button 'Buy and Download now' to proceed to checkout with your pack of choice.
Follow the prompts to complete the purchase process, including providing payment information and confirming your order.
Once purchased, you can download your chosen image and if you’ve purchased a pack the remaining downloads will be on your account ready to use.

Tip. You can also click "add to cart", that will add the single license or pack to your cart, allowing you to carry on browsing and adding more assets.

What’s the difference between an Individual and Team?

An Individual license is for a single user, allowing them to use images in various projects but not share or transfer the license. A Team license provides more flexibility for multiple users, enabling them to share images and assets while collaborating on a project.

What is a Individual license?

The individual license is designed for people working on their own to use in a wide variety of digital and print projects. But you can’t pass or transfer an image/license to another user.

For one user only
Unlimited web usage across websites and social media platforms including short-form video on video-sharing sites
Digital publishing and digital marketing
Self-published books up to 5,000 prints
Print runs up to 5,000 (print marketing)

Which license do I need?

It's important to choose the right license for your project. You can refer to our image license detail page and video license detail page which outlines the inclusions and exclusions of each image license type. This will help you understand the specific terms and rights associated with our licenses.

How does pricing work for packs of licenses on Alamy?

We offer reduced pricing options for pack purchases of both images and videos. These packs are designed to provide cost-effective solutions for customers who require multiple assets.

Note: For the image license 'Team Commercial Super-Enhanced' there is no pack discount offering.

Pricing for packs is available in various supported currencies.

Can I switch my license type after purchasing a license?

Once you've purchased a license, it cannot be changed or upgraded to a different license type. Therefore, it's essential to choose the appropriate license type that aligns with your project's needs at the time of purchase.

Do you offer discounts?

Are there any restrictions on how I can use the images and videos I license from Alamy?

Yes, there are usage restrictions outlined in the license terms. It's crucial to review these restrictions, as they specify what you can and cannot do with the content you license. This ensures you have a clear understanding of how to use our imagery within the bounds of your chosen license.

There are also restrictions on images that are available for Editorial use only. Editorial content shouldn’t be used for commercial use such as advertising or promotional campaigns, commercial projects, office wall decorations or product packaging. This list is not exhaustive. Editorial content has no model or property releases on file, so to use it for commercial purposes, you’ll need additional clearances from either the people or the owners of the property featured in the visuals. See our explanation on release here.
